Prior to this year, I'd only ever seen two movies twice in the theater: one of the Men in Black movies (not sure if first or second), and the other was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze. Both times as a group that was purely wanting to see something that everyone could enjoy, regardless of whether some of us had already seen it.

re: watching Spider-verse SIX times... I think I'd already seen it quite a few times before finding out it was nominated for Best Animated (Oscar), but I knew before even watching the movie -- back when I'd only seen the teaser clip at the end of Venom -- that it was going to be really special.

The first triple day was the most ambitious and not something I'll likely do again: Had a short day at work, went to the first showing at a local theater to see The Blackening, then took a train to another city to see You Hurt My Feelings, then traveled to another city yet again for Suzume.
